The long-awaited historical book about McCauley is set to launch on Thursday, June 20 at 7 p.m. at Zocalo (10826 95 Street).

Entitled McCauley, Then and Now: A Walk Through One of Edmonton’s First Neighbourhoods, the book features information about many buildings and historic locations in the neighbourhood and includes numerous interviews with long-term McCauley residents.

The launch will feature readings, music, and light refreshments. There is no cost to attend and free copies of the book will be available.

This project was made possible with the generous support of McCauley Revitalization (City of Edmonton) and Boyle McCauley News. It was researched, written, edited, and designed by people who live in McCauley or who are otherwise connected to the area.

The book has been in the making for over a year, and the committee is very excited to finally present it to the community. Be sure to join us on June 20!
