DESCRIPTION:The 2026 Edmonton Dragon Festival is a free\, three-day cul
 tural celebration taking place August 21–23\, 2026 in Edmo
 nton’s Chinatown\, centred around Kinistinâw Park and 96 
 Street. The festival features the Pan American and Canadian
  National Lion Dance Championships\, cultural and martial art
 s performances\, a Canto-Pop concert\, free outdoor movies\, fa
 mily activities\, and the Taste of Chinatown food night marke
 t. Lion dance teams from across Canada and internationally w
 ill compete and perform throughout the weekend. Accessibili
 ty: The festival is an outdoor event with free admission. 
 The site is accessible by Edmonton Transit\, including the ne
 arby Quarters LRT Station.  There is plenty of parking ava
 ilable in private lots. Accessible washroom facilities will 
 be available on site. Guests requiring accessibility assista
 nce are encouraged to speak with festival staff or volunteer
