McCauley Neighbourhood Multi-Family Yard Sales

Saturday August 29 & Sunday August 30
10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Watch for signs!

All McCauley Residents can participate: There is no cost. Ads will be placed in the Journal and on Kijiji inviting people to come and browse. Your own yard is your “sales floor.”

Main locations: Along 110 Avenue & 108 Avenue between 92 Street & 95 Streets.

Yards on 93 Street between 107A Avenue and 109A Avenues will also participate.

Signs will be placed on 92 and 95 Streets directing people across to our yards. You can help direct people to your yard by placing directional signs – NOT on CITY Property!

• Everyone is responsible for their own ‘stuff’, sales, and their own yard!
• Make signs and post beside your front sidewalk— NOT on City property.
• Set up tables in your front yard, get change, be there to collect cash for sales.
• Enlist the help of friends and family to help you get set up and look after ‘stuff’.
• Display things you want to sell, put prices on all items or groups of items.
• Organize your ‘stuff’ so people can see what you are selling, and it looks tidy.
• Be friendly: talk to your neighbours. Have FUN!!! Play music? Offer treats?
• Word from the City: we cannot sell ‘stuff’ or put signs on City Property! City property includes lawn boulevards, sidewalks, and light poles. Keep everything on your own land!
