I guess I could say my main hobbies are writing and trivia. Over the years I have amassed many trivia books that not only rate how intelligent you are but also sharpen the brain to recall things!

Having a cognitive injury I truly believe the brain can rewire itself and memory is a huge factor in that. I indulge myself in trivia quizzes, am an avid viewer of the television show Jeopardy, a huge fan of the Canadian-invented game Trivial Pursuit, and I read the trivia quizzes posted in the newspaper.

I believe trivia keeps my brain in shape. It is also a creative conversation starter when you can recall the names of capital cities of the world. And money? Some of those contestants on Jeopardy have amassed millions from their memory! I would love to say one day, “I’ll make it a true Daily Double, Alex!”
