Family Day at the McCauley Rink
There was plenty of fun and the weather was terrific for the Family Day skating party. This year we had around 250 people come out and help celebrate Family Day on February 15. There were horse wagon rides, face painting, a bonfire, prizes, hot dogs, great music, and, of course, skating.
Once again, this event wouldn’t be possible without the help of many businesses, organizations, and volunteers. Thank you to Darren Pielak, Shauna Forsyth, Elizabeth McEwan, Adam Kuipers Glugosh, Grace Kuipers, Drew Schamehorn, Ramona’s Ravishing Creations (face painting), David Prodan (E4C), Al Hamilton and everyone from KIDS, Sparky Kulchisky, Joan Kirillo, Jane Molstad (Revitalization), Father Jim and Sacred Heart Church of the First Peoples, City of Champions Lions Club, Elite Sportswear, Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation, Challenger Insurance, Cowan Printing, City of Edmonton, McCauley Community League, and to anyone who I might have forgotten. Our community is grateful to all of you!
