House of Refuge Burns Down
House of Refuge Mission burned to the ground in the early morning of October 19.
Located on the corner of 95 Street and 103 Avenue, the Christian mission was open every evening from 5-9 p.m. providing meals for around 200 people, as well as personal care items.
At press time, the Board of Directors of House of Refuge was planning to meet to decide upon their next steps. We will have a full story about the fire in the next issue of BMC News.
