Editor’s Notes

July & August 2018

Welcome to our Summer issue! We’ve got lots of community news and events covered within our pages, as always thanks to our magnificent volunteers.

Our September issue is going to reflect an editorial change. Instead of having a theme, submissions are open to any topic relating to the Boyle Street and McCauley neighbourhoods. This will, of course, include coverage of community news and events, but also opinions on social issues, commentary on current events, poetry, and maybe even a cartoon. We also encourage submissions by people who reflect the cultural diversity of the area.

Specific submission information is below under “Our Next Issue.” If you have any questions, feel free to get in touch with me at editor@bmcnews.org.

Do you want to revisit a previous issue? Are you doing research on the area? Visit our website at bmcnews.org. We have our back issues digitized and searchable. You can also find us on Facebook and Twitter (bmcnews) as well as "Instagram":https://www.instagram.com/bmcviews (bmcviews). Have a great summer!

We also ask that contributors read our -_June_14_-_Final.pdf” target=”_blank”>Code of Conduct.
