Knowing God’s Love
Today was a great day to take in the improved weather for a nice stroll while wonderful droplets of snowflakes came down in a mist. They were like a shower of little mini kisses hitting my face as I trudged through the snow.
God’s love is vast and warm and tender. As I frequented the different ministries in order to get to know others in the community, I met a warm, caring, loving church group called Edmonton Father’s House. It is located on 96 Street and 105 Avenue and is a church plant out of Evangel Pentecostal Temple. It is run by Pastor Debbie Kunst and other wonderful volunteers. The clientele at the Father’s House are very welcomed and I just felt a sense of peace and so much love here. So, it wasn’t an accident that I came upon this place.
I am glad I found Father’s House because since the House of Refuge has been displaced, I have felt sort of like an asteroid drifting aimlessly in outer space. On that note, I find that praying and seeking direction in how to walk in love is beneficial so I know how to respond to others as I go about my way.
