A lot has been happening behind the scenes at Boyle McCauley News since our last issue hit the streets. First of all, I’d like to extend a “welcome back” to my mother, Barbara, who returned to the paper as proofreader last month.
We are in the process of bringing on a couple of new ad salespeople to the paper. The paper is funded mostly through a casino and revenue generated from advertising.
If you are a business owner, whether you have a storefront or a home-based enterprise, and are not already advertising with us, please consider supporting independent, community media. This month, our theme is Transportation and several of our contributors discuss their favourite ways of getting around. In addition, we have a lot of community news and events covered. It seems like every month there are more and more things going on in the area.
