Newcomers are Lit, Edmonton chapter of the Canadian Council for Refugees Youth Network and Our McCauley joined together and created a full-day, Indigenous and Newcomer Youth Gathering called Together as One, at the Edmonton Intercultural Centre on August 17. We had special facilitators for workshops, a sharing circle, performances, food, and dance. Our McCauley will be coming to the McCauley Community League’s Fall Fiesta September 15 – see you there!
