Welcome to the October 2011 edition of Boyle McCauley News! Our theme this issue is “Learning.” We have numerous articles about how learning is a life-long process.

We also have extensive coverage of several events that have taken place in the area, particularly the East meets West festival and In/Stall/Ed, a day of art installations that took place throughout McCauley.

Our AGM is coming up on November 9. If you would like to meet the people behind the paper and hear about our direction, please plan to attend. It takes place 6-8 p.m. in the basement of Sacred Heart Church. This is also a great time to learn more about volunteer opportunities with us.

In particular, we are looking for Editorial Committee members. The Ed Com meets in person quarterly and communicates online regularly concerning the content and design of the paper. We especially discuss upcoming themes and articles.
