Spring construction is planned for 96 Street from Jasper Avenue to 103 Avenue. This work will form part of the corridor known as The Armature that will link key areas of The Quarters Downtown. 

An information session held in late March gave community members an opportunity to view displays, ask questions, and find out more about the project.

The Armature is expected to propel growth in The Quarters Downtown. It will be the heart of the area, with commercial and residential buildings opening onto a pedestrian friendly street. The Armature will connect residents and visitors to the City’s attractive parks and places to visit, including the River Valley and Louise McKinney Park.

Design work is underway for The Armature and construction is expected to begin in 2013.
