The Edmonton Intercultural Centre Gymnasium

A bustling indoor sports venue in the heart of the McCauley community.

The Edmonton Intercultural Centre (EIC) is committed to bringing vibrancy, diversity, and inclusion to the Community. The old McCauley School was converted into office space for 12 member tenant, non-profit organizations. True to its vision, the Centre continues to provide a venue for different events and activities that inspire community and intercultural collaboration for residents of the local McCauley community. It also supports the needs of various individuals, groups, and organizations throughout our city.

For the past eight years, the EIC gymnasium has hosted and welcomed different sports activities for diverse sports organizations. The gymnasium is always bustling with things like basketball, soccer, badminton, volleyball, and dance practice.

Earlier this year, the Edmonton Intercultural Centre started hosting a brand-new program: Youth Co-ed Floor Hockey. Kids ages 6 to 12 are welcome to register and join in every second Sunday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the EIC gymnasium.

There is a registration fee that helps to cover the costs of this program: $10.50 per two-hour session or $84 for all eight sessions of the season. All equipment is provided (sticks, balls, goalie equipment, etc.). This is a great way for our children to gather, make new friends, engage in a fun weekend activity, and participate in a popular Canadian sport.
