If you head north on 95 Street on the east side you’ll see a little barber shop called Venetian. Tony is the owner who has been cutting hair for almost 50 years. It is a skill he learned from his father.

Tony opened Venetian Barber Shop in McCauley about 25 years ago. He chose McCauley mainly due to its proximity to Little Italy. Most of his customers are Italian.

Venetian Barber Shop has been in its current location for about 11 years. It was originally where Zocalo’s courtyard is now.
