When I was in junior high school, I was late one day and signed in as James May (my middle name) instead of Wesley May.

Later that day, the school called my mom to ask if this is the home of Wesley and James May. Mom was a little confused. However, she said yes. The person on the other line said that James was late but Wesley never showed up!

After thinking for a moment, Mom told the person that Wesley and James is the same person, that my name is Wesley James. The person apologized and hung up.

Mom had a good laugh about it and I thought it was quite funny myself. I decided to have a little fun afterwards with the school and went to the office and asked, “who am I today?” However, the receptionist did not answer, but just said I would be late for class and to get going!
