Interested in how planning affects our neighbourhood? Do you wonder how high your neighbours can build their fence? Concerned about a new development in McCauley?

If you are, the McCauley Community League’s Planning Committee is for you.

The Planning Committee is recruiting people in McCauley to help plan for a better neighbourhood. This involves reviewing development permits, talking with your neighbours about the plans, and then making recommendations to the League Board.

With the new hockey arena and so much new development in and around our community, planning for our future is more important than ever. Anna Bubel, who served on the committee for 12 years, is stepping away. Thanks to Anna for her terrific work on the committee.

Now, new people need to step forward to take this on. If you don’t know a DC1 from an RH3 zoning, it doesn’t matter. There is an opportunity to learn about planning and to make a real contribution to building a strong community.
