A Dining Destination

“One should eat to live, not live to eat.”- Moliere (French author/playwright, 1622-1673)

We must eat to sustain our well-being, but eating can also be an adventure and experience, a comfort and a celebration.

With the plethora of cultural restaurants in our community, eating is definitely not mundane or tedious. We have an abundance of cultural “palate pleasers” – everything from Chinese, Vietnamese, Ethiopian, Italian, and more are in our reach.

Award-winning restaurants like Sorrentino’s started in north Edmonton and has gone on to open many locations and been recognized for its cuisine.

Edmonton is actually a hotbed of dining, with some of our eateries being recognized in Air Canada’s enRoute magazine and the Food Network’s “You Gotta Eat Here” hosted by John Catucci, who can often be seen noshing in our city.

But true bragging rights have to go to Edmonton being mentioned on the international scope for pizza in the Globe and Mail, thanks to Tony’s Pizza. The newspaper named Edmonton the eighth best place in the world for pizza, in April – higher than Florence or Milan!

Twice a year, Boyle McCauley News volunteers, columnists, and our dedicated deliverers, as well as family members, are treated to a “Pizzapalooza” for our work. Our staff work very hard to organize this to show appreciation!

So, when you’re downing your third slice of this world-renowned, amazing pizza be sure to feel appreciated – and satisfied! I sure do!
