Lunar New Year celebrations in Chinatown welcomed the Year of the Horse on February 1. Hundreds of people packed the street outside of the Pacific Rim Mall on 97 Street and 105 Avenue to watch the annual celebrations that included the Lion Dance, Dragon Dance, and lighting of firecrackers. The event was organized by the Chinatown and Little Italy Business Association.
