June is another month of fun in Boyle Street and McCauley! Start it off right by heading to this year’s Heart of the City Music and Arts Festival in Giovanni Caboto Park on June 4 and 5. It’s your chance to get your fill of music, art, spoken word, and poetry, and other forms of community creativity!

Edmonton is a city full of such creativity, and that’s why the ICRWP is helping launch a new radio show on CJSR 88.5FM. Called “Pedagogy of the City,” the show will tell the stories of Edmonton not normally heard. It will cover current events, important city issues, and have interviews with artists, activists, and anyone else with something to say. Of course, it will also focus on the well-being of people in central Edmonton.
