Welcome to the November issue of Boyle McCauley News. Our theme this month is “Transportation” and we received some informative and sometimes funny submissions about how we get around.

As far as regular features go, we welcome Dan Aire and Jen Strohschein’s home and garden column “Inside Out,” which has already appeared in a couple of issues. We also welcome back Dan Glugosh, who is reprising his “Around the Rink” column.

We also have lots of event coverage. More and more things seem to be happening in both McCauley and Boyle Street, and it is sometimes hard to keep up.

If you attend events in the area, and like taking pictures, please feel free to send some snapshots in to the paper. You don’t need a fancy camera – smartphones and other mobile devices work too. Just remember that when you send the photos, send them at the original size. If you choose one of the smaller sizes offered, the photo is actually resized within your phone or tablet. A rule of thumb when it comes to photos: bigger is better. Leave the resizing and cropping to us.
