Welcome to the September issue of Boyle McCauley News! Several of our writers tackled the theme of “Cultures.There were a lot of fun and interesting events that took place over the summer months, so we have coverage of a few of them within our pages.

Speaking of our pages, you might notice that they are a little larger than our last issue. We have made a change as to where we get the paper printed, and as a result the dimensions of the paper have changed as well.

What else is new over at BMC News? Our office, which flooded a couple of times last summer, was recently renovated thanks to our wonderful landlords at Zocalo. This required us to do some significant housekeeping. It gave us the opportunity to do some much needed decluttering and reorganizing. For me, I got a huge blast from the past going through our entire archive of newspapers once again and seeing what issues and concerns were affecting Boyle Street and McCauley throughout the past three and a half decades. We also welcome the McCauley Community League back as they return to share our office space.
