Inner City Recreation & Wellness Program

The 2016 Homelessness Marathon

Every year, the Homelessness Marathon is aired on campus and community radio stations across Canada. Each participating station contributes between 30 minutes to two hours of programming, which brings local issues into national attention. Edmonton’s segment will be airing on CJSR FM 88.5 at 9:30 p.m. MST on Tuesday, February 23. If you would like issues around homelessness in Boyle Street and McCauley discussed during CJSR’s contribution to the Homelessness Marathon, please send an email to rkafara@ualberta.ca. Topics such as affordable housing, displacement, and wellness will be part of the conversation, but more ideas are welcome!

Rylan is the Program Coordinator of the Inner City Recreation and Wellness Program.
