The Mustard Seed’s Petting Zoo and Kids’ Clothing Giveaway took place on June 11 inside and outside The Mustard Seed.

The purpose of the event is to build a sense of community and bring joy to children and families who are living in poverty, while providing children with an opportunity to see exotic animals they may not normally see.

The back alley behind The Mustard Seed was filled with people of all ages clamouring to get a look at the adorable animals. The miniature pony, wallaby, and small goats were the focus of a lot of attention in particular.

In addition to the petting zoo and clothing giveaway, the event featured balloon twisting, snow cones and cotton candy, and crafts.
