April 2012

Hopefully by the time you are reading this, all of our snow is gone and signs of spring are blooming all over the area. Our theme this month is Gardening, and we have a host of articles about our area’s gardens and gardeners.

We also had quite a few articles that we could not fit into the last issue, so we welcome back a number of our columns, some of which discuss the arts which was last issue’s theme. The arts are such a big part of the area that it is always relevant.

On hiatus this month is Cop’s Corner. You may remember reading in the last issue that Cst. Mike Walkom was heading north as the CLC for Alberta Avenue and Cst. Paul Pilon was the new CLC for out area. At the time we went to press, although Cst. Pilon was technically the CLC for Boyle Street and McCauley, the Downtown Division was going through some transitions and as a result we don’t have Cop’s Corner this month. We do hope for its return in May.

We value your feedback! Contact me at editor@bmcnews.org. Have a great month and enjoy the issue.
