Our July/August issue can only mean one thing: summer is finally here! This issue is jam-packed with community events, columns, and coverage, particularly of the highly successful Heart of the City Festival.

The latest column to grace our pages is “Be Well,” a health column from McCauley-based RMT Janice Zubin. It also looks like we will have regular updates concerning Block to Block and our N.E.T. team!

You may think the summer months are quiet around Boyle McCauley News, but that is not true at all! We are still out in the community covering important events, connecting with the community, and recruiting volunteers. Right now, we are seeking Editorial Committee members in particular, in addition to writers and photographers.

Speaking of photographers, a big thanks to Christopher Leclair who has been helping take some excellent shots. You can see some of his work in our HOTC centre feature.
