The Annual Gathering and AGM of the Wicihitowin Circle of Shared Responsibility and Stewardship took place on June 11 in Giovanni Caboto Park. The organization works with Aboriginal Edmontonians and organizations to improve the quality of life for Aboriginals in the city. The event lasted all day, and included information tables, speakers, dancers from different traditions, and free stew and bannock. “Wicihitowin” is a Cree word meaning “helping each other.”
