Hi all! April was very busy for me. I attended several meetings in Boyle Street and at City Hall. The topics were the 80 storey tower proposed (and opposed) at 96 Street and Jasper Avenue, the proposed (and opposed) medically-supervised injection sites in the inner city, and a meeting at City Hall about the outdoor washrooms (or lack of them) in the downtown area. Each of these meetings was to inform the residents and the business community on the latest news of these three issues.

As a league President, I have to support the feelings of Boyle Street residents. Although I may not always agree with them, they do come first. I personally want to see more development in Boyle Street. That’s all for now, but stay tuned – there will be more to come!
